I have been visiting the spa for the past few years, however, with the recent new management taking over I felt it was an appropriate time to leave a review.
Not only was my terrific trio treatment (a gel mani, gel pedi and body scrub) a bargain price at £99.00, but, the service was top notch. I was offered a robe, drinks and a choice of colours on arrival. Complimented by the beautiful decor (very surprised at the comments on previous reviews) and friendly staff I could not have asked for any more. Even when I could not bring myself to leave the stunning shower room (I want this room at home) after my body scrub, the lovely Megan (who had waited very patiently) simply smiled and told me to continue enjoying the experience.
In short, first-rate.
I have been numerous times to visit the spa with friends and every single time I have been the staff have gone up and beyond to help all of us and advise where needed. The spa is always clean and tidy and everything you need is on hand, I have had various treatments here and I would 100% recommend to anyone and defiantly will be going back. I am from York so don't get to visit as often as I would like but when I do come to stay with my friends we make sure we book for some form of treatment.
My Mum treated us to a spa day at Kubu spa in Henley on Thames. Treatments were incredible. We both had a facial and a back, neck and shoulder massage. We had a lot of treatment time and felt amazing afterwards. We would definitely recommend.

My daughter and I were kindly given 'terrific trio' vouchers for a Christmas present/thank you and we went yesterday. We each booked a facial, back neck and shoulder massage and a wrap, the two therapists Stephanie and Megan were fantastic. Extremely attentive and we enjoyed relaxing in the relaxation room before and after our treatments. Would definitely come back. We left feeling so relaxed and shoulders lighter! xx
Just Fab! A friend and I went to celebrate a birthday. Do not be put off by entrance. This is a little oasis in the middle of a busy town. The layout staff, treatments - Everything is fab and the treatment rooms are huge beds very comfortable and staff so kind knowledgable and friendly. Go!!

My sister in law and I visited for her birthday! What an absolute gem of a place. Very attentive staff, all smiley and friendly. Excellent therapists, owner was hands on and even did my sister in laws treatment. Can’t wait to go again!
The staff here are lovely and extremely competent. The setting is peaceful and luxurious, so you feel you can just totally relax and that you are in safe hands. Good range of treatments, reasonable prices. I would recommend this spa to anybody.
I would like to say this was the best massage and facial i have ever had. The place was spotless and the staff and owner were very friendly and professional. Rebecca my masseuse was incredible, I felt like I had been unknotted. The Elemis products smelt wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble and nothing was rushed. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.
From the moment I walked in Caroline made me feel so welcome and at home, what a lovely host! Both her and Kerri, who gave the most incredible massage and facial I have had, were fabulous! Kerri made me feel at ease and really took the time to understand what I wanted to get out of the treatment, she was very attentive and made me feel so relaxed! This place is an absolute hidden gem, I would highly recommend it and most definitely will be going back again!
